AeroAcademy Aerospace Careers Event
On Saturday 26th November 2016, AeroAcademy will be holding a unique flagship event on-site at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group in Cambridge to to help support university applicants in making an informed career choice for September 2017.  The first event will be at 9:30am and repeat at 12:00 and 2:30pm.

National Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering

Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group AeroAcademy’s team of instructors deliver a range of specifically formulated industry led courses, in partnership with key universities, aiming at putting you onto a career pathway, in the exciting, diverse and dynamic world of aviation.

We have put together a series of open days for your benefit. It’s your chance to stand next to airliners in Europe’s largest privately owned aircraft hangar, speak to our instructors and recruitment consultants to find out what careers suits you, how to get there, and after graduation what jobs could be open to you in the UK or if you like to travel, the rest of the world.

The first event will be at 9:30am and repeat at 12:00 and 2:30pm, parents and careers advisors are welcome, and the programme will be broadly based on the following:
·         09:30    Welcome by General Manager – AeroAcademy
·         09:45    Tour of display stands.
·         A chance to meet with Aircraft Engineers, Recruitment Consultants, University and Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group staff.
·         Various aerospace related activities and exhibits
·         Displays by our Launchpad and/or STEM teams
·         10:15    Presentation covering:
o    Marshall ADG
o    The Aerospace Industry
o    How Marshall can help you into this industry
o    Introduction to other Marshall ADG programmes
·         11:15    An opportunity to be up close and personal with a civil aircraft – currently planned to be a Boeing 747
·         11:45    Close
We can only take a maximum of 40 people per time slot so please contact Nicola Turner on 01223 294917 or Nicola.turner@marshalladg.com so that you do not miss this unique opportunity to gain an understanding of this dynamic, growing industry.
Please note that:
·         We cannot permit children younger than 12 on site at any time.
 
·         All children must be accompanied by an adult.
 
·         All visitors must have photographic ID.
 
·         Photography is not permitted.

·         Saturday 10th December (1000) Open Event – This is a 2 hour event where we will present to prospective students details about the industry, Marshall Aerospace and the courses we offer that will help students into aerospace industry careers in a wide variety of different roles. We will also include a tour around some of our aircraft maintenance facilities.  We may also have representation from our partner universities.
·         Thursday 15th December (1000) Open Event – This is a 2 hour event where we will present to prospective students details about the industry, Marshall Aerospace and the courses we offer that will help students into aerospace industry careers in a wide variety of different roles. We will also include a tour around some of our aircraft maintenance facilities.  We may also have representation from our partner universities.
·         Saturday 7th January (1000) Open Event – This is a 2 hour event where we will present to prospective students details about the industry, Marshall Aerospace and the courses we offer that will help students into aerospace industry careers in a wide variety of different roles. We will also include a tour around some of our aircraft maintenance facilities.
If you do intend to take advantage of these opportunities please note that:
·         We cannot permit children younger than 12 on site at any time.
